To keep your MAR Closet outfit looking fresh and beautiful wash after wash, please follow these general care guidelines:

• Wash separately for the first few washes to prevent color bleeding, especially for dark or printed fabrics
• Turn inside out before washing to protect prints, embroidery, and colors
• Hand wash preferred, using cold to lukewarm water and a mild detergent
• Avoid bleach or harsh chemical-based detergents
• Do not wring or twist the fabric — gently squeeze out excess water instead
• Iron on the reverse side, especially for printed or embroidered pieces, using medium heat
• Dry in shade, away from direct sunlight, to prevent color fading
• Avoid direct heat or ironing over embroidery, sequins, or handwork, as it may damage delicate threads or embellishments
• Store in a cool, dry place — fold embroidered pieces rather than hanging, to protect the handwork

⚠️ Note: For heavily embellished or delicate fabrics, dry cleaning is recommended over regular washing.
